NEW CONSTRUCTION

“RECYCLING SYSTEM”

The system being implemented as follows:

1.)        Frame Pick Up (foundation to installation of doors and windows) Frame,
roofing, door and window waste is to be piled as before with all material that is
small enough to become airborne to be placed under heavier items.  A 55-
gallon plastic drum will be located in the garage for small construction debris
after pick up occurs.

2.)        Mechanicals Pick Up (mechanicals to frame inspection) All cardboard is
to be broken down and placed in the garage in an organized manner with the
exception of a specific number of boxes which will second as containers for
sweep up debris.  A 55-gallon plastic drum will be located in the garage for
small construction debris.

3.)        Drywall Pick Up (hanging to finish of drywall) Drywall is to be stacked in
the garage in an organized manner in front of the overhead garage door.  All
cardboard is to be broken down and placed in the garage in an organized
manner with the exception of a specific number of boxes which will second as
containers for swept up debris.  A 55-gallon plastic drum will be located in the
garage for small construction debris.

4.)        Final Pick Up (prime to carpet) all cardboard is to be broken down and
placed in the garage in an organized manner with the exception of a specific
number of boxes which will second as containers for swept up debris.  A 55-
gallon plastic drum will be located in the garage for small construction debris.

5.)        The 55-gallon plastic drum will be removed after the home is cleared.

The process is very similar to current systems in place now, with some
differences.

The collection, removal and recycling of construction waste is a vital component
of the construction process.  When construction waste is not managed properly
job sites quickly become bogged down, unsafe and overall quality declines.
With this in mind it must be a priority for all who are involved to strictly adhere
to this plan.
